As we near Whangarei we wind our way up the river to view our very own waterfall, its whereabouts a well kept secret! Moving on we over-fly Tutukaka Harbour, a popular game- fishing port. In game fishing season you may see a Marlin hanging on the scales at the end of the wharf. |

We continue north, out to view the famous ‘Hole in the Rock’, ‘no’ unfortunately we don’t fly through it but, ‘yes’ it has been done! From the Rock we return to Cape Brett and the Lighthouse where we land for 15 minutes, to stretch legs and take some unique photos. |
