Depart Heletranz Heliport and fly up the East Coast over beautiful sandy beaches. If you’re lucky you will see large schools of fish, common to this area and the odd shark or two basking in the shallows. |

As we near Whangarei we wind our way up the river to view our very own waterfall, its whereabouts a well kept secret! Moving on we over-fly Tutukaka Harbour, a popular game- fishing port. During the season you may see a Marlin hanging on the scales at the end of the wharf. |

We continue north, out to view the famous ‘Hole in the Rock’, ‘no’ unfortunately we don’t fly through it but, ‘yes’ it has been done! From the Rock we return to Cape Brett and the Lighthouse where we land for 15 minutes, to stretch legs and take unique photos. |

Fly over the Bay of Islands, landing near the historic township of Russell, for a stroll around the wharf, the waterfront, the shops and even the cemetery. This part of New Zealand has historical significance as well beauty that will enchant. |

| 12 Noon |
Arrive at Omata Estate for lunch – Omata Estate is poised on a secluded 25 hectare peninsula owned by Omata Estate Vineyard – where personal tasting sessions can be arranged. One of NZ’s foremost chefs will create a culinary adventure that compliments your exciting day or perhaps fly a little further north to the famous Kingfish Lodge. This rustic fishing lodge has a unique position at the entrance to Whangaroa Harbour and is only accessible by boat or helicopter. |

After lunch we will fly across the Waipoua Forest, landing at the Matakohe Museum – No! unlike some museums it is not boring but…is an excellent introduction into the lives of the early New Zealand Kauri Gum Digger. |

From Matakohe we travel across to Sheep World where you can learn and watch tasks that take place on a typical New Zealand farm, you can even try your hand at sheep shearing. Sheep World will put on a special show just for us so time is not a problem here. Wonderful pure wool gifts are available for purchase. |

Return from Sheep World to the heliport where a courtesy vehicle will return you to the City. |
