BROOKLANDS COUNTRY ESTATE is an original turn-of-the century kauri homestead situated on a 2,000 acre sheep, cattle and deer station. Guests can select from an extensive and varied menu specialising in provincial French-style cuisine adapted to local produce and complemented by New Zealand wines. A variety of sporting activities are available on the estate including croquet and petanque, clay bird shooting, tennis and swimming. Nearby attractions include the thermal mineral pools and private spas at Waingaro, caving and abseiling.
