Waikopou Retreat is situated at the eastern end of Waiheke. Overlooking Pakatoa, Rotoroa and Ponui islands, it commands some of the best views found on the island

The property stretches over 10 acres, which includes large grassed areas, native bush, helipad and access to a secluded beach.

Waikopou Retreat consists of 2 unique Mudbrick cottages with solid exposed beams, giving these wonderful buildings an earthen and rustic feel. The Mudbrick construction offers warmth in winter and coolness in summer. (The buildings are never rented individually.)

The main lodge provides a fully equipped modern kitchen, an authentic Japanese bath, which is a total treat, and sleeps 5+ in its 3 bedrooms, consisting of 1 King, 1 Queen, and 1 single (this can be reconfigured as a double).

The peace and tranquillity of this superb hide away is rarely found in such a stunning private location. It is paradise plus!
Sweeping verandas, which offer outstanding views, wrap around the building, making it a perfect spot all year round. Or sit on the front deck and be stunned by the vista across the bay and down the coastline by the magnificent light created by the setting sun. A photographer's dream come true.

If you are up early, you can start your day fully charged by witnessing the power and spectacle of the rising sun coming across the bay straight onto you as if it was your own golden light wave. What a way to start a day!

The annex has 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom giving extra guests plenty of privacy and space. It has a large open room with large sliding glass doors that open onto the lawn.
This versatile area can be used in a variety of ways, including for larger groups dinning, a meeting room or it can be set up for additional accommodation.

The Helipad sits cliff edge, with the most commanding views over the bay and beyond to neighbouring Islands. This area is also perfect as a wedding/function area and can hold upwards of 100 guests. A truly outstanding spot for those special occasions or the cherished wedding photos.

Enjoy a glass of wine on the helipad overlooking vineyards and the 180 views over the Waiheke channel, or perhaps visit many of the local wineries.

Stroll through the native trees or wander along the secluded beach. It's all available at Waikopou Retreat.

A 4x4 jeep is provided so you can access the secluded beach at the bottom of the driveway in order to make your stay as convenient as possible.
