The originators of NZ heli-fishing now introduce a series of first class fishing, cruising and dining options on Heletranz very comfortable and well equipped 43 foot Oliver Royale “M.V. Angie”.
A wine and seafood cruise around the islands of the Gulf - or at 20 knots to the Skipper’s favorite spot with more time for fishing. Angie has large ice/fish storage, live bait tanks, first rate tackle and all amenities in that extra large cockpit area.

Depart from ‘Z’ Pier, Gulf Harbour or rendezvous with Angie and crew at Gulf Harbour, Kawau Island or Great Barrier by helicopter.

We fish the following areas dependent upon weather/sea conditions, with a maximum of 8 Anglers. (8 hour day)
 
 
Area 1: Tiri tiri Island, Motautapu Island, Motuihe Island, Waiheke Island, Kawau Island
Area 2: Great Barrier Island (western side), Little Barrier, Coromandel, Cape Colville to Port Charles.
 
OPTIONAL EXTRAS
Rods, reels, tackle and bait
Finger foods/gourmet lunch or dinner
Helicopter rendezvous at Gulf Harbour, Kawau Island
or Great Barrier Island
Additional charter time is available at the standard hourly rate
Leave the evening before (accommodation for 6 to 8 people)
Overnight at Kawau Island or Great Barrier Island
