20 years experience. Experience is what counts in our industry. Heletranz have a solid foundation of experience spanning 20 years flying becoming familiar with almost every destination in New Zealand.

Service. Heletranz strength is the ground team who plan your flight or occasion with knowledge, accuracy and innovation. The ground team are able to cope with changes to an itinerary and will make adjustments from Auckland leaving the pilots free to concentrate on their flights.

Friendly. Our planning team and pilots are very professional yet friendly and outgoing, more in line with overseas visitor expectations and what they are used to.

Reputation. Heletranz has won awards and accolades for its trips and service and this is why the major Auckland Hotels and most of Auckland’s business community use Heletranz for their clients.

Product quality. The Heli-dining flight, Heli-fishing, heli-launch trips plus many other trips and themed adventures were originally conceived and marketed by Heletranz. Although there are many imitations it follows that Heletranz best understands the product, client’s expectations, standards required and will provide the best experience and value for money.

Aircraft. Heletranz owns and operates Eurocopter helicopters including the latest generation EC series helicopter. Passenger comfort includes leather seating, the latest Bose noise canceling headsets, air-conditioning, luggage capacity as well as less visible advancements making this series of passenger aircraft the most advanced and quietest world-wide. Our aircraft are uniquely serviced by the manufacturer.

Capability. Some of the larger groups we have flown have been corporate groups of 100 plus passengers. This is made uniquely possible through having everything meticulously planned by the ground team and drawing on a pool of similar standard aircraft and pilots. (the largest single event which took three months planning involved 12 helicopters leaving our Albany base simultaneously.)

Convenience. Heletranz has its own base headquarters at Rosedale Rd, Albany and also uses the pads at Mechanics Bay, Auckland Airport and Waiheke Island for collection and drop offs. The Albany base has a large free parking area, overnight security for vehicles if necessary, a large welcoming congregation area with toilet facilities and light refreshment service.

Value. We do not aim to be the cheapest on the market but rather promise to deliver the best value. Often it is the little extras, an extra courtesy in the air, an upgraded room, French Champagne or complimentary extras with lunch or dinner that combined achieves the VIP effect and a trip always remembered.

Assurance. Often we are tasked with recommending and organizing a once-in-a-life-time or important event for a company or private group. When there is so much at stake you need to be assured that everything will come off well and guests will feel as though they are treated as VIPs. This is the Heletranz promise.
